Over the course of 25+ years Mike LaFleur has assisted leading organizations including Emerson, AT&T, and BellSouth with product development, market expansion and strategic acquisitions, driving top-line growth while boosting gross margin and profitability.  In 2016 Mike launched Ask Listen Innovate LLC to share his expertise more widely.  He brings a career’s worth of experience penetrating markets, raising prices, and winning large dollar sales to his his clients  He works both as consultant and as a workshop leader.  His workshops enable participants to use the Ask Listen Innovate Methodology to learn their customers’ & prospects’ unmet & emerging needs; a key to high margin sales.

  • While at AT&T Mike launched Internet services in the northeast where he lead 100+ sales people to discover their customer's needs and to address those needs using internet services.
  • At BellSouth he identified the market and produced the cell tower deployment plan satisfying the needs of the users. 
  • At vCentrix he focused the development and operations teams squarely on a high quality customer experience and led them to introduce telephone services over cable television systems.

Mike studied improvisational theater at The Brave New Workshop and acting and voiceover at The Guthrie Theater.  He is an avid investor and swimmer, he has a great sense of humor, a dynamite beard and mustache, he is a NABCEP Photo Voltaic Associate, a member of the Minnesota Renewable Energy Society, the Midwest Renewable Association and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
